Rigtech Independent Ltd.is a privately owned engineering consultancy, which specialises in the provision of engineering support to the oil & gas industry.

The company was originally formed in the UK in November of 2002 and since then has been involved in numerous and various activities relating to the operation and maintenance of drilling units of all types.

Rigtech’s permanent staff and group of consulting engineering personnel have been selected on the basis of technical qualification, ability and extensive hands-on experience in the drilling and oil & gas industry.

It is our company objective to provide a cost effective solution in providing a good quality range of engineering services to support the offshore and marine industries.

In January 2009 Rigtech Independent formed a joint venture partnership with the Adu Dhabi based Delmon Group of Companies and re-established a presence in the UAE in order to provide a base for a local expansion of services.

The partnership also allows the company to make use of the group offices and representation worldwide, in Romania, South Africa, Indonesia and the Middle East. In 2010 further strategic alliances were formed with local representatives in Egypt, Algeria, Libya and  Nigeria

2011 sees an expansion of our training courses with further development of a Deepwater programme and rig specific electrical training particularly coming to the fore, following the purchase of an SCR unit and VFD drives specifically for training purposes.
